RANDOLPH COUNTY, ILLINOIS (WSIL) -- Hundreds of people gathered in Chester Saturday to see the world's largest steam locomotive.
The locomotive is a part of Union Pacific's fleet and is nicknamed The Big Boy. It made a pit stop in our area along its 4,000 mile journey.
Photo-journalist Carson VanBuskirk gave us a look at the locomotive before moving full steam ahead to St. Louis.
