Carterville IL. (WSIL) -- Temperatures today feeling much nicer as we see some full sunshine across parts of the area. Highs staying in the mid and upper 60s with a northerly breeze around is going to keep things feeling much more seasonable today than past days. Some clouds and isolated showers are trying to hold on across western Kentucky today but I still think most of us stay dry today.Â

As we progress through the day expect partly cloudy conditions and temperatures to cool down much more than the past couple of days as the sun sets. Temperatures tonight should get down into the upper 40s across the area. Western Kentucky stays warmer as the cold front tries to fire more showers across you folks overnight into tomorrow morning. That rain should dry out later in the afternoon even for Kentucky.Â
