CARTERVILLE Ill. (WSIL) -- By Wednesday we will be fully entrenched in a colder airmass with highs struggling to get out of the 30s. We have a weak clipper moving in on Wednesday. This could provide a few flurries for mainly areas across SIL. Ground temperatures should be above freezing so accumulations are not expected with anything that falls.Â
December 10th evening forecast with Meteorologist Nick Boynton
Low temperatures will also be very cold in the mid and low 20s for the next few nights. Winds wont be too strong but any gust will make it feel in the teens. Regardless the next few mornings will be quite cold, so, bundle up! High temperatures do start to rebound over the weekend back into the 50s. Unfortunately, that will come with some rain chances.Â
