WSIL(Carterville)-- Its another calm and mild morning with temperatures in the upper 20s and low to mid 30s. Some of us, especially across northern southern Illinois are seeing a little patchy fog. This fog will not last long and should burn off with ample sunshine.

Today, we will see a few clouds this morning, but  mostly sunny skies are expected. Temperatures will warm into the low to mid 50s for afternoon highs with mostly calm winds. These mild conditions are due to a system of high pressure over our area.

Tomorrow, we will see more clouds build in in the morning, before becoming mostly cloudy to overcast in the afternoon. Cloud cover will not bring nay chances for rainfall or inhibit warm weather. Temperatures start in the low to mid 30s and temperatures will climb into the upper 50s once again.

Warmer temperatures are expected for the remainder of the week, with the warmest days expected Thursday and Friday with highs expected to be in the upper 50s and mid 60s. We could see a few isolated showers and storms work their way into the area for Thursday evening and Friday morning, before more rain sets in for Sunday.
