CARTERVILLE, Ill. (WSIL) -- The severe weather packed a punch overnight, leading to lots of damage reports across the region, with one person reported dead in Butler County.

Authorities are still taking reports and taking count on injuries and what all was damaged.

Saturday: As you wake up to pick up the pieces on Saturday morning, temperatures will still be warm and in the lower 60s with partly cloudy conditions. By noon, temps will peak in the upper 60s and the chance of rain starts to increase again.

Saturday evening: Another round of rain enters the area, with storms more likely in the southwestern portion of our region, with the main focus of severe weather potential in western Kentucky.

Sunday: At the start of the morning at midnight, it will likely be the high temperature for the day at around 50 degrees with cloudy skies. As we move through the day, the temps will drop into the 40s as the cold weather settles in. By the time we hit the overnight hours, you will once again see some 30s to start your work week.
