CARTERVILLE, Ill. (WSIL) -- Rain is exiting the area soon with a cloudy and cooler weekend ahead.

Tonight, rain chances will start tapering off with clouds starting to move out a little. However, we won't totally get rid of the clouds though.

On Saturday, we will have overcast skies and temps top out in the mid 60s by the afternoon. It will be a cool start with many of us in the lower 50s. Winds will be up to around 7-10 mph and you could see the sun at through the entire day.

On Sunday, more clouds are in store. We should some mostly cloudy conditions with a small chance of a shower here and there. The temperatures should be in the mid to high 60s and it should feel pretty comfortable outside for some yardwork.

Starting on Monday we will see mid to upper 80s as highs with Tuesday seeing some potential thunderstorms.
