Tired of the cool temperatures? You're in luck!

CARTERVILLE Ill. (WSIL) -- Clear and cool conditions will stick around overnight, but it will be slightly warmer than recent nights. Overnight lows will dip into the mid 30s. Patchy frost is still likely, protect and cover any fragile vegetation. 

The warming trend continues Friday and into the weekend. High temperatures Friday will climb back into the upper 60s, accompanied by more sunshine.

Above average temperatures return this weekend. High temperatures will rise back into the low 70s, with lows in the 40s. 

Next week will bring even warmer weather, with highs reaching the mid to upper 70s.
