PADUCAH, Ky. (WSIL) -- Another tornado watch has been issued for portions of southern Illinois, southeast Missouri and all of western Kentucky. This was added to the east side of a tornado watch which was issued earlier for portions of southeast Missouri and southern Illinois.
The new tornado watch is in effect until 10 p.m.
Threats include up to tennis ball sized hail, widespread gusts of 80 mph, and a few tornadoes are likely.

Earlier, a tornado watch was issued for a portion of southeast Missouri and southern Illinois until 7 p.m.
The National Weather Service issued the tornado watch around noon on May 16, to be in effect until 7 p.m.
Threats include scattered gusts of up to 70 mph are likely, widespread hail up to softball size and a few tornadoes.
The watch extends to portions of Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas and Oklahoma.
