(WSIL) -- The couple of rain cells in SEMO this afternoon are a sign that the break from rain for most of us will not last much longer. Thursday daylight hours should be dry but by Thursday evening the chance of rain is back in the forecast. Storms are likely Friday and Saturday and the daily chance of storms will stay in the forecast well into next week.
Ample cloud supply will keep afternoon temperatures in check. Overall the summer of '21 has lacked big heat for us and it appears that trend will continue. I will have the latest forecast updates on News 3 WSIL.
