CARUTHERSVILLE, Mo. (WSIL) -- Four people have been arrested after reports of recent threats in a southeast Missouri community.
The Caruthersville Police Department updated the public on Tuesday night, stating four people were arrested after multiple agencies in Pemiscot County investigated threats towards the Caruthersville School District.
The Pemiscot County Sheriff's Office, Caruthersville Police Department and juvenile offices worked together with the Caruthersville School District after tracking down information about the posts, including where the posts were generated from.
You should know and beware that if you think making threats is a game or something that you can hide and get away with, you are wrong. We will investigate these threats and do everything within our power to file charges that will follow you the rest of your adult life. This IS NOT A GAME.
