...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Illinois...

Big Muddy River near Plumfield and near Murphysboro

.Moderate to major flooding continues along the Big Muddy River. At
Plumfield, the river is now forecast to crest in moderate flood
stage near 28.5 feet Friday morning. At Murphysboro, the river has
crested and started a very slow fall.

For the Big Muddy River...including Plumfield, Murphysboro...
Moderate to Major flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 28.5
feet Friday morning.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

Marion Police looking for woman connected to retail theft

MARION (WSIL) -- The Marion Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a person of interest related to a felony retail theft that occurred on June 20th.

The person, a white female shown in a sleeveless shirt and a medical mask over her mouth, was caught on a security camera.

If you know the identity of the woman or have information related to this theft, you're asked to contact the Marion Police Department at 618-993-2124, ext. 1206.
