(WSIL) -- SIU students are making 400 glass pumpkins to sell for the 15th annual Great Glass Pumpkin Patch. Money raised will support the glass program. That means this year it goes to furnace upgrades and a trip to the Glass Society Conference.
"It's a good chance for the SIU glass program to interact with the community, and for the community to see what kind of things we are able to produce as students." said SIU Graduate Student Kristin Powell.
The 'Great Glass Pumpkin Patch' is Saturday, October 16th on the lawn outside the SIU Clock Tower.
